How it began...
Once upon a time, there was a
6 x 3 metre gazebo....
Standing out in a field at weekend events selling clothing, gifts and hand-made items. I did Christmas Markets, Spring, Summer and Autumn, come rain or shine! I did this for 15 years! I loved meeting people, I loved the thrill of buying stuff...making things, crafty things and then the bigger thrill of selling them. But it was always my dream to own a shop, and dedicate it to the memory of my gorgeous Mum....Dorothy. and finally in April 2025 Dorothy's of Shanklin was born.
